MY SHL team has many strengths. The first one is that we have an infusion of young talent coming in. With the talented Harvey Danger and the Youngster with a strong pedigree (Daniel Karlsson) both making their debut we are only going to improve over last year. Two young rookie defensemen, holding down our first and second pair is amazing. It shows that the Renegades truly have a strong future up ahead.

Another strength of the Texas Renegades is our coaching. JP and Dan have won coach of the year two of the past three seasons. That's got to be nearly unprecedented in the league, as fvoters usually tire of voting for the same coaches. The two of them work super well together and lead a great locker room. There is not a doubt in my mind that the two of them are the best coaching pair in the league and they certainly inspire confidence in our whole team.

Another strength is our goal keeper. Walter Hobbs has a chance to be special. One of the only goal tenders to win Rookie of the Year in the history of the SHL Hobbs is definitely on the rise, and will cement himself as one of the premier goalies in the SHL. Texas is lucky to have him, and it is unbelievable to think the kid was drafted in the third round. What were the other SHL General Managers thinking? That wasn't even a reddit draft.
