The Raptors were a bit of a question mark heading into the last offseason. After being bumped from the playoffs early by the Montreal Militia, they were without team management due to resignations and appointments in SHL. Enter the new management team of Carbine and jcfbey01. Two established GMs with a track record of winning teams and bumping locker rooms, the team seems to be in capable hands for the moment. Another big strength will be the additions of Michael O'Dowd and former Raptor Kevin Maddox from the Kelowna Knights. The team was in need of a passing center and another big defenseman and addressed it in the same trade. Speaking of needs, they were minimal this season due to most of their capped players surviving call-ups and remaining with the Raptors for one more season. Troy McClure III was the only call-up this season, which means the Raptors will continue to have one of the most potent lineups in the league. Goaltender Scottey Crawfling remaining with the team is likely the most important keep this offseason with the lack of goalie prospects in the Raptors system. There is a very good chance the team looks very different this time next season, but for now, the Raptors have one of the best chances to win the Four Star this season.
