Alonzo Garbanzo is very deep into regression at this point, meaning that he isn't at all what he used to be out on the ice. Coupled with the fact he was somewhat overspent somehow, this means that Garbanzo will be even worse going into S44. His checking is off, his skating is off, he doesn't have the same endurance he used to have. All of it is essentially gone. All that I want out of this season is to get at least 30 points on the year, and preferrably 20 by the trade deadline. If I don't, then it is very unlikely that Garbanzo is going to come back for S45. But depending on how the season shakes out Garbanzo could definitely keep that going, as he is considered one of the best defenders to ever play the game. But then again, father time knows every man's number. Even someone who is as well known and respected as Alonzo Garbanzo.
