What does a player do with all the time in the world? Well, we're going to find out with an in depth look at the player on each team who got the most time on ice. ![]() ![]() A look at Egger's play by play seems to answer our question with a resounding "Not much". He records 1 goal on 2 shots in the second period, and then a lame HIT and HTT, neither of which change the possession of the puck. So why does Egger deserve to get 21 minutes of ice time? Turns out the answer lies in a stat not captured on any regular stat sheet. Egger intercepted 15 passes and took the offensive zone 12 times, giving his team the offensive chances that they would have needed to come back from their tremendous first period deficit.
