Three Stars of the Game
1 - Xena (ANC)
Xena didn't like the Raiders taking the lead, so before the first period could end, she got her fifth goal of the season at 17:09. She also contributed to the game-winning goal in the third period and had one more shot on goal on a hit, as well as won 64% of her face-offs, proving her place on the first line for Armada and a promising center.

2 - Bust (ANC)
Bust was not a bust this game, helping the Armada with the game-winning goal in the third period at 9:09. Bust also had five other shots on goal and helped on the penalty kill.

3 - Dean Colt III (ANC)
Dean Colt III helped tie the Armada up with the Raiders with ten seconds into the second period. He also had two other shots on goal, two hits, and succeeded on 62.5% of his face-offs (15/24).

Comment Two:
Armada vs. Raiders Mid-Season Match-up
Armada came into this game 1-2 against the Raiders this season, so they were eager to tie it up. The Raiders were coming off a win from Armada just four days prior and had won their last three games. Armada had won their last game against the Whalers by only one goal and had lost their last three games prior, the last game lost to the Raiders. The two teams are the furthest apart in the SMJHL, but this back and forth win and lose game have possibly made both friendly rivals as they've been also teetering between fifth and sixth place in the league, vying for the playoffs. This game brought out the best in lesser-scoring Raiders like Mr. Faceoffs and Thomas Speardane, while the Armada relied on Xena and bust who both had good seasons last year, along with leading point-getter Dean Colt III this season.

Comment Three:
Goal of the Game
After eight minutes into the third period, both teams were looking to make the game-winning goal. It started with Xena intercepting a pass by Desmond Carey in the neutral zone and then passing to Eero Niemi who faked a shot before passing to Xena to make her shot that was blocked once again by Desmond Carey. The puck bounced off Carey's stick, and it went near the Armada net where Niemi took his shot but it missed the net. The puck free again and too far from Justin Wills, it was quickly picked up by Bust's stick who took a shot on instinct, proving practice makes perfect with the game-winning goal in the back of the Raiders' net. This put Armada at 2-2 against the Raiders in the season thus far.
