If a person is semi-active, then I would argue that catering to them and placing the cap to create player parity affects those who are quite active. It is almost like we are rewarding half-assed commitment to the player/league while taking away from those who put effort into building their player.

I think a semi-active can understand why others have a higher TPE than them if they are not completing all AC/PT/Training and hopefully it eggs them on to put more effort into their player. It is ok if we have some members drop off if we are then trading them for other members who are putting more effort. Usually people who put in solid effort into their player, stick with them throughout their career at some degree. It's not even like the TPE overage that gets surrendered is exceptionally high either, and I really feel players should be allowed to put in extra work to ensure that their player is the best they can be and should ALWAYS receive the TPE that they have worked for.
