Task 1: The Blizzard made a huge splash this previous off-season bringing in Oisin Fletcher and Piotr Czerkawski. These both players, as well as the continued development and success of the team, helped jump Edmonton to win the President’s cup this season. Oisin has been especially vocal in the locker room, being at every team meeting and at every practice, spending multiple hours after practice still on the ice fine tuning the skills that are needed to be a top player in this league. Tommy Tuck took some lessons from Oisin and has found himself also staying late after practice to take more shots and get better at everything he needs to do. This Team is poised to continue the push, and even though they got knocked out in the second round, look to be an early favorite to win it all next season. Keep a close eye on Edmonton, because they are in it to win it. (156 words) Task 3: This season was of huge importance to Tommy Tuck and his supposed “curse”. After being traded half way through the season to the Edmonton Blizzard last year, they were poised to make the playoffs. Instead, With Tommy in net, they decided to fuck up (I’d put 99% on Tommy), and not make the playoffs. This year was a completely different story. Tommy Tuck was a wonder between the pipes, as well as Aliester Cain, and they both helped lead the Edmonton Blizzard to the President’s Trophy this year. Hopefully they both continue to progress and fight the powers that be, and continue to show Edmonton that they are both starting caliber goalies for years to come, and make themselves better and better. Tommy especially, now that he has the playoff bug in his system, (first playoff ever in his career), expect to see more and more training and effort out of this young man.
