task 1 complete - 3tpe When looking at the West Kendall Platoon’s journey to the cup finals, it is important to remember that they were already a very successful team and one of the favorites to, at the very least, go deep this post-season. That being said, they did manage to add some in Cameron Dubois, which was a boost, but their real success came from the MVP caliber season of PGF graduate, hall of famer, and all-around legend, Dani Forsberg. There is not really a specific aspect to Forsberg’s game that shines much brighter than the rest, as is the case with many of the league’s best players, he is a true all-around GOAT. Guy is a beast, and it showed this season. We can talk about how the league really doesn’t see too many singular skill stars, but let’s keep the focus on the Platoon’s bad-est boy, Dani Forsberg and his all-star skills. All-in-all Dani scores, assists, hits, leads, and his play is one of the biggest (among many) reasons why we see WKP having the sustained success that they have seen of late. Task 2 - 3 tpe Task 3 complete - 3 tpe Eero Niemi’s moment of the season had to be the last 10 games of the regular season where he was able to notch 7 goals and 8 assists for 15 points. Those 15 points in 10 games were one of the key reasons why Anchorage, who had been struggling all year to stay in the playoff hunt were able to secure the final playoff spot with 52 points over Halifax’s 51. Going 5-2-3 over the span of the final 10 games was key as Halifax had only managed 5-4-1, missing playoffs directly because of the extra OTL points the Armada were able to get after Eero pushed games into overtime with his stellar performances. Of course, Anchorage got quickly dismissed from the playoffs, losing to Vancouver in the first round, but it was a key post season appearance for the team who have been on the outside looking in for the past little while. task 4 complete - 3tpe Task 7 complete - 3tpe Task 8 complete for 1 tpe 3. Between Beaujeaux Biscuit and Artom Zhumbayev which star goalie has the advantage over the other in this series? There is only one answer possible here and that is that Artom Zhumbayev is the best damn goalie in the history of the SHL and it’s not even close. Guy is a legend from head to toe, “Biscuit boy” doesn’t even come close. ARTOM THE TANK ZHUMBAYEV is an alumnus of the best junior team in the history of junior teams, the Prince George Firebirds. They were so legendary they had to go out of existence TWICE because it just wasn’t fair for the league. You want to know why they had to do it twice? Well the second time it was because Zhumbabway was just so damn good nothing else could compare after. |
