Edmonton was the best last year and had 12. There's definitely way more members but I think it's debatable how much more dedicated the members we have are. That's not a shot at anyone but I feel like lots of members that were 600 TPE back then would find getting to 1k TPE now the same level of difficulty, we've always had a super dedicated base. For instance, I worked twice as hard to get Barkov to 500 TPE as I did getting either Hudec/Reiter to 500. That's a combination of PT's being easier now and there being more ways to earn points. It's too late to do anything about this now because changing PT's would just make it harder for rookies to produce and more would stay down. I do miss the days of capped 350 TPE players coming straight up from the SMJHL and leading the league in rookie scoring. The problem with capped send-downs playing in SMJHL too long isn't new, there's just way too many of them since we have way more members and it makes it hard for first-gen rookies to find ice-time and produce.
