The game started off quick with the Armada getting the first tally from a quick play off the faceoff. Xena won the faceoff to Oliver Kovacs who entered the zone and took a shot that beat Knights goaltender Vivian Leblanc.
Berry Batsbak minor penalty for holding at 3:01
Berry Batsbak takes an untimely penalty for holding Armada Mika Mayfield after he forced a turnover by a hit on Knight Dick Clapper. Armada goes on the first powerplay of the game to try and extend their lead to 2. Armada would be not capitalise on this advantage.
Goal 1-1Scott Niedermayer Jr. (from Dick Clapper , Barry Batsbak ) at 7:56
The Knights are able to tie the game at 1 with a shot from Scott Niedermayer Jr off the rush. Barry Batsbak won the defensive zone face-off too Dick Clapper. The D-man quickly sauced it up to Scott Niedermayer Jr who gained the zone and beat the Armada goaltender Hank Scorpio with a shot.
Goal 2-1Kalevi Karhunen (Johnny Sins, Eero Niemi ) at 13:44
You could tell this goal was coming after a tired Knights line got trapped by an icing. Armada was able to sustain pressure in the Knights zone starting at 9:44 of the period. The Knights were forced to ice the puck twice, and could not win the draw to advance the puck out of their zone. With numerous shot attempts from Armada Kalevi Karhunen was able to find with his fourth shot attempt to make it 2-1 Armada.
Shouta Aizawa minor penalty for hooking at 18:41
Armada is once again back to the power play to try and take the lead
SH Goal 2-2Nolan Sawchuk (from Karlstrabe Scholz) at 19:50 (Shorthanded)
The period looked all but finished when Shouta Aizawa took that hooking penalty. It looked like Armada was going into the intermission with a 2-1 lead. With 1 minute and 18 seconds left in the frame, and a face-off in the Knights zone. Armada Dean Colt III won the face-off, but Knights Karlstrabe Scholz forced a turn over, and dished the puck to Nolan Sawchuk who put a shot past Hank Scorpio to tie the game at 2 heading into first intermission.

After the Knights put the pressure on Armada early Jacob Geza took a defensive zone hooking penalty to put the Knights up on the man advantage for the first time in the game.
Liam Hutchinson minor penalty for hooking at 4:51
Liam Hutchinson takes an unneeded penalty as the Knights had trapped Armada in their zone. The offensive zone hooking penalty will put Armada on the man advantage looking to break the tied game.
Goal 3-2 Xena from Eero Niemi at 8:09
Armada gets the lead back with a deflection goal by Xena from a shot by Eero Niemi. It started when Xena won the defensive zone faceoff which allowed Armada to advance into the Knights zone and set up.
Johnny Sins minor penalty for holding at 12:32
Johnny Sins is headed to the sin bin after getting the grab onto Jack Icicle trying to force a turnover in the Armada zone.

It didn't take long for the Knights to set up on the power play after a face-off win from winger Liam Hutchinson. This power play goal is the first of the game, and comes off a shot from Vladislav Konstantin
Goal 3-4 Barry Batsbak from Dick Clapper , Liam Hutchinson at 15:02
The Knights gain their first lead of the game from a goal by Barry Batsbak. After some pressure in the Aramda zone, winger Liam Hutchinson retrieved the puck in the corner, dishing it off to point-man Dick Clapper who passed it to Barry Batsbak for the one timer shot to put it in the back of the net. Both Dick Clapper, and Liam Hutchinson would pick up their 2nd assists of the night off this play.

After a relatively defensive third period, Armada forward takes a minor high sticking penalty to give the Knights a chance to get a insurance goal.
Scott Niedermayer Jr. minor penalty for hooking at 16:23
With less than five minutes left in the game, Knights Scott Niedermayer Jr. would take a hooking penalty in the Armada zone to give Armada a last chance to send the game to overtime. Armada would squander this chance getting barley any zone time, and the Knights would hold out to win 4-2
