So far this season the Colorado Raptors season has been a bit of a mixed bag. At the start of the season the Colorado Raptors won 6 of their first 8 games but since then they've only managed to win 2 of their last 7 to put them in 6th place in the league. The Raptors have been very pleased with their depth scoring this season with 8 of their 12 forwards scoring 3 goals or more. A big part of the Raptors season would have to be their rookies and the rookies have been scoring with 16 of their 45 goals being contributed by rookies. A major cause for concern for the Raptors has been their awful special teams with the PK dropping as low as 77% and the powerplay being an absolutely dreadful 6.82 % which puts them in last place in PP% and 5% worse than the next worst team. Going forward the Raptors will need to rely on their rookies to continue scoring and if they improve their special teams they could likely fly up the standings.
