After going 6-3-1 in their last ten games, the Anchorage Armada are sitting at 5th in the league with 21 points, but it's a tight race, as they're a mere four points away from the top spot that was theirs mere weeks ago. The team is playing a solid two-way game, with their goals for/against percentage neatly over 100 at 117.07%, and their shots/for against first in the league at 136.71% (26% ahead of the second-place Whalers). However, we could stand to get our special teams going slightly more - especially the powerplay, which is tied for 7th in the league at 14.75% - in order to get that extra bit of offence to hopefully translate to more wins. Overall, though, with our clean game keeping us out of the box and our league-leading faceoff percentage making sure we retain possession of the puck, the Armada is in fine shape going forward this season. We'll no doubt be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time.
