My player spotlight today is Shaquille Derisraka from the Vancouver Whalers. The powerforward center from Russia, drafted 16th overall by the Vancouver Whalers in the S43 SMJHL Entry Draft and 5th overall in by the New England Wolfpack in the S44 SHL Entry Draft. has become an important player for the Whalers. In his third season with the Whalers, he is getting top line minutes in all units. He is not known for gathering many points, but the guy likes to hit. In fact, at the time of this writing he is leading the league with 67 hits, followed by Rainbow Dash (61) and Rahotep Tutankhamun (53). In this game, he added 5 to his total.
