Halifax came out of the gates looking to finish this game early, 17 shots in the first and 13 in second is great start to the season. However with that dynamic explosion they might have drained the tank a bit too fast, the 3rd period they notched only 6 shots. Colorado came out with a more consistent effort registering consistent shots across all period. Great first start for Colorado goalie Yuri Ushakov who did a great job of stopping 38 shots through this game, this is an example of where the stats sheet doesn't give a player credit for doing a great job.
