Even though Colorado opend the first period strongly by scoring two goals, both from rookies they could not manage to hold on to the lead and eventually fell to the Armada in the shootout. All the offense in this game came from great plays from the rookies and they combine for 5 points. If colorado wants to make the playoffs both veterans and rookies will have to show up on the scoreboard every game. Tonight they did not.
