Maybe 5 seasons ago... Shmurph was co for I think 4 seasons before taking over for me as GM. One of the most stable GM situations in the league tbh.
So, already what @sarmo said isn't true about "The only GM change we've had was baelor to shmurph with wuma recently becoming co, nothing outside of that for 15 seasons atleast :shrugs:"
In just last 4 seasons and not 15 we have:
- andybj stepping down as co-GM in S41/42 offseason, so not even 5 seasons ago
- Shmurph was chosen as co-GM something around at the same team
- you stepping down
- Shmurph was chosen as Head GM
- wumaduce was chosen as co-GM
Not sure why you are so obsessed over it as a team, changes happen and andybj not being there is the biggest reason why dropped to my Tier 3. It might haven't been the biggest of changes, but certainly, whole management was replaced in quite short time.
Sarmo claim debunked, now to yours - let's do a summary of GM swaps only from S41 and onwards since it's the relevant period for me and whole article premise:
Same GM in WBF
Back to ThatDamnMcJesus that was there when I started after brief Teddy period
JayWhy all the time
This been talked about, but yeah also GMs/coGMs switch that was a big reason for my team change
Okay, similarly to you, management overhaul in recent times, not highly ranked either
can't find info in team history but by judging JR topics he has been in the role at least from S39
Lol, yeah, not even have to dig for that, same for
karl has been a while, ~10 seasons already?
Grape 9th seasons and counting
Okay, this is probably the team with the most swaps, that struggled because of the terrible decision of pre-S41 GMs and has the 3rd GM ever since
dankoa I think since S40
flappy took over recently
Okay to summarize do you still claim "One of the most stable GM situations in the league tbh.", despite 8 out of 12 other teams not even having GM change in the same timeframe? Only one team in could be easily argued as having more turmoil and for a good reason.
