Welcome to this episode of the Arbys™ Three Stars for tonight's match between the Vancouver Whalers and the Anchorage Armada.

Arbys First Star - Xena 

The first star of this game goes to second line centre, Xena. In a high scoring night, Xena put up 2 goals and 2 assists. Two of these 4 points came in a busy first period for the Armada, with the first coming off the assist on the power play goal which kicked off the scoring. Xena's shot percentage was 100% and was also impressive in the face off circle, leading to our first star.

Arbys Second Star - Noah Nowes

The second star goes to the top line Nowes. It's hard not to give Nowes at least one star in this match even though the Whalers lost. His impressive hat trick in the third period alone was enough to rally the Vancouver players for one of the biggest comebacks of the season. It unfortunately proved fruitless in a 7-5 loss.

Arbys Third Star - Thomas Speardane

The final star goes to the blue liner Speardane. The third paring d-man can only be described as the conductor of Anchorage's win tonight, scoring himself an impressive 4 assists. His play making abilities shined through the rest of the roster tonight, and he showed his invaluable capabilities to his head coach.
