Karl's Stars

First Star - Nolan Sawchuk - Collecting 1 goal and 2 assists Nolan manged to factor in to the majority of the Knight's offense on this one. Add in a team leading 6 shots on goal and it's hard to argue that the sophomore winger wasn't a dominating force driving this Kelowna team.
Second Star - Nickolas Klaus - Finishing the match with 1 goal and 3 assists you could argue that the second year centerman had a case for 1st star honors, but I opted for the explosive shooting power of Nolan on this one. Nickolas did manage to register a shot of his own though, netting the 1 goal, and performed nicely in the faceoff circle winning 15 of 30 draws.
Third Star - Raino Kyllonen - One of two Falcons to finish with 2 points and a +2 rating in the defeat, Raino arguably the best player on the Detroit based squad this evening. Finishing the game with 1 goal, 1 assist, 4 shots on goal and a couple hits the Detroit center had a nice performance in an otherwise disappointing game for his team.
