Russian discipline

In true Russian spirit, young rookie Oliver Klozoff took two separate penalties in the second period. A hooking penalty at 7:08 in the second sent him to the box, only for Colorado to score on the ensuing power play. Only 14 seconds after the power-play goal, Oliver Klozoff managed to earn himself another penalty, this time for slashing. Thankfully, Montreal was able to kill the second penalty kill off.

On the bright side, the kid’s got hustle. The motions could be a bit more careful, but perhaps demonstrative of a lot of heart. Klozoff was a late addition to the federation, but we’ll take a few penalties once in a blue moon if it means having a player on the roster who cares this much about the game.
