While to many not the most exciting or star studded match up, this produced a very interesting game Goal tender wise. Ushakov vs Cain came down to a few extra shots by the Scarecrows. Both teams played their other goalies, and they both proved that they have a shot at earning more play time, if not in the SMJHL, in the SHL propper. Cain posted the .842 and Ushakov a .826. Consistent scoring from both teams kept it close, even if offense wasn't at the front most of the importance in this game. Both teams showing that down the stretch, they want to keep their defense tight, even if it means costing their offense.
