Game 31 of the season saw the visiting Colorado Raptors take on the Anaheim Outlaws. This was their second meeting of the season with the Outlaws taking the first match 5-1, also at home. Coming into this game the Raptors have a 1-5 records, were the Outlaws aren’t doing much better at 1-2-2. Let’s get down to rink side to get ready for the action.

Starting goalies for tonight were Yuri Ushakov for Colorado and Tibuk Soonika for Anaheim.
First Period
The first period starts off pretty uneventful with Anaheim dominating the possession and shots on goal. Some early faceoff wins for Anaheim led to a chance for Hiro Fujikawa but Yuri stood tall. The first real and only action of the first period comes at 16:18 were we have matching penalties. It appears Nick Brain was holding Slap McShotty, but Slap decided to embellish the hold a bit to much and went off for a Diving minor. Alas, nothing would come of these penalties in the first. Shots on goal 5-4 Anaheim in the first.
Second Period
The second period starts off with an Outlaw faceoff win. They are continuing to control the play in the second before a Mathias Seger penalty at 15:28, which leads to a PP goal from Knute Knurtsson, just at the PP expires. It doesn’t take to long though for the Outlaws to respond on a goal from Collin Gibbles at 9:21. With less than 2 mins remaining in the period an Interference penalty on Jake Peralta leads to a PP opportunity by Anaheim. Jaco Peterman cashes in here with a PP goal via a deflected shot from Max Rockatansky with only about 30 seconds remaining in the period. Anaheim leads 2-1 going in to the third with the shots being 14-9 in favor of Anaheim.
