TSN TURNING POINT

With the season still in its first week, and with early points up for grab Lethbridge battled in out in Halifax as they took on the Raiders. The game was a tight one through 2 periods aas halifax lead two to 1 with Goals from Dickens Makeout-King for Lethbridge followed by Jaguar Johnson and Dylan Karlsson for Halifax. As the got onto the ice for the 3rd period Lethbridge was flying and found away to tie the game up just 6 minutes into the period as Monkey D. Luffy potted one for the Lions. Thats where our TSN Turning point comes in as Gaspard Boone wastes no time and scores just 3 minutes later to give the lead back to Halifax and they never looked back. They went on to win the games 4 to 2 against the Lions

The Highlights

The Lions got the early jump on the Raiders with a nice goal from Dickens Makeout-King to open the scoring...



Right before the end of the 1st period Jaguar Johnson netted his 2nd of the season to tie the game up just 30 seconds before intermission...



The nail in the coffin game around the mid way point of the 3rd as Gaspard Boone tallied the Game Winning goal 9 minutes into the final period...

Tonight's game was a tightly competed battle in Halifax and when the final horn sounded there was 1 name that found its way on to the score sheet more then anybody else. Andrei Doskocil had an impressive outing and he was dishing the puck every where and finished the game with 3 helpers. His first 3 assists on the season and was surely a huge reason why Halifax came out with the win against the Lions. Doskocil will have a big role with the Raiders all season and games like this are the exact reason why he will be an anchor on their blue line all season.
