5:41pm - News emerged from Southeast British Columbia this evening from the general managers of the Kelowna Knights. Here we have the scoop:

"Honoring the past Knights has been a long & storied tradition here in Kelowna. We've had a plethora of tremendous players walk through these halls, carrying with them what would eventually be SHL records & countless individual awards. It's been over 25 seasons and @Zoone16 and myself are proud to announce that this weekend we will be holding our first modern-day ceremony to honor past legendary Knights."

"We also understand there is no established 'Hall of Fame' for our franchise... and we plan to build just that. Only the greatest Kelowna Knights will have the honor of having their names raised to the rafters and forever enshrined as a legend within our city. There is also more to the ceremony, which Zoone and myself have talked about in great detail to this point, but we don't want to spoil any surprises ahead of the main event. We are both very excited to give the recognition to those who are long overdue for it."
