We're going to look at a couple of key factors in tonight's game:

Broken Crutch: Chuck Crutchfield is someone the Militia lean on heavily and he was inadequate in this game. Posting a -3 in over 20 minutes of icetime, Crutch was held pointless and also racked up 4 minutes in penalties. Although the Outlaws didn't capitalize when he was in the box, having a negative impact while on the ice and then taking yourself off the ice and leaving your team shorthanded is never a good thing. They'll need a better effort from him.

Goal-in Gibbles: Colin Gibbles has been a big contributor thus far for the Outlaws, starting this season at a 2 PPG pace and slowing down a bit but still burying the puck when it matters. Picking up 2G in this game, Colin shows that he can step up and deliver when his team needs it. For a team that doesn't have a ton of high end talent, Gibbles could be what they need to make a deep run this season.
