It's rumored that he asked Herb Robert "got some snacks?" partway through the third period against the Manhattan Rage, and Robert told him Rage defender Reginald MacIntyre did. Gotze jumped on the ice his next shift and sent MacIntyre flying with a hip check, also causing a turnover. As he skated past, Gotze yelled out "got some snacks?"
