Trouble on Whalers Home Ice
#1

Vancouvers ability to bond over their distain for others has been outstanding the last few seasons. Their collective hatred for teams such as Kelowna, Detroit, and more recently Halifax has been a major bonding experience for their players and a key to creating a successful active lockerroom. Until recently all of the hate has been focused on other teams, and players outside of the Whalers family. Geoff Moore of the Minnesota Chiefs has had a rather slow start to the season, the team has been performing poorly, and he hasnt been helping the cause, registering only 1 goal in his 7 games with the club. Because of the slow start Moore has been spending more and more time with his old club the Vancouver Whalers inbetween games. At first many players thought he was around as a means of helping Whalers management train their young defensive core, or even perhaps to spend more time with future Chiefs goal tender and WJC traitor Casimir Stevens. This would certainly explain Moores sudden demand late last season to have an office in the arena, much like that of Tokek Takshak. Unfortunatley it seems as though his sole purpose in Vancouver has been to make himself feel better about Minnesota's issues by dragging the players of the much more successful Whalers down.

We recently caught up with Jax Duggan and Dale Miller as they were leaving the arena to ask them about the situation. "Honestly the guy just talks alot, hes not really good at insulting people, but hes trying ALL THE TIME. I think its just more annoying to constantly hear him talking than it is hurtful" said Jax. "I just enjoy fucking with him, hes not the brightest so its really easy to insult him and not have him realize, sometimes he come back yelling hours later about how mean what i had said before was, after finally understanding it." interjected Miller immediatly after Duggan had given his response. "Weve been getting our revenge though, the arena wasnt actually going to give him an office at the beginning until we talked them into it, so now every once in a while we go in and completely fuck with it, with Takshak we just take random things, but with Moore, we break stuff. Its a really good stress reliever after a long day." continued Miller. No other Whalers were availible to comment.

Regardless of of how either teams do for the remainder of the season, it seems like Whalers players will continue to find things to bond over as their careers progress. Nevertheless both teams and all of the players can rest easy at night knowing they dont have to play for that cold sore of a city on the face of Canada known as Halifax.
