Alright well a bunch of my Armada boys are doing it on ANC-VAN, and to be honest with how much they dumpstered us this season, I'm not having it. Our rivals for this PT for me is Colorado. It's 2:30am as I write this and I just want a morale boost. Also Tomen told me that a number of seasons back Colorado got an upset series win over us that shocked everyone. So how about we get into it and see just how good Anchorage is in this very small sample size?  

GAME 1: (@ Colorado): 4-2 W

Analysis: Honestly this one was really close. Colorado had one more shot than Anchorage, but unfortunately for them the Armada came out on top.  Eko van Otter, who I had been bashing in the Discord for not getting multi-goal games (I'm sorry @hotdog seems I was wrong), in fact scored twice in this one to grab 1st star in the game. Captain Olivier Cloutier got a goal and assist as well, while the ever-reliable Peter Larson stopped a solid 24/26 shots. Solid outing for the first encounter between these two.

GAME 2: (@ Colorado): 4-3 W (SO)

Analysis: Oh yeah. Never in doubt boyos. Colorado can try all they want but this ship is unsinkable. Cloutier once again showed the Raptors what's good, bagging another goal and assist, along with a further goal in the shootout. Andris Dzerins netted a goal in the 6th round of the shootout, which proved to be the winner after Peter Larson promptly denied an equalizing attempt from Anastasia O'Koivu. Make that 2 wins, no losses!

GAME 3: (@ Anchorage): 5-2 W

Analysis: Cloutier just really hates Colorado this season, huh. With 2 goals in this one, Cloutier at this point had 4 goals and 6 points in 3 games against the Raptors. Anchorage get yet another win in a game that was honestly pretty close, as the two teams combined for just 42 shots between them, split almost evenly. The Armada are just simply cruising through this season series! 3-0.

GAME 4: (@ Anchorage): 4-1 W

Analysis: Lol well this one was just kind of sad. Colorado managed just 16 shots over the entirety of the game, a number that was a whole 5 shots lower than the Armada's output in the 3rd period alone. My boy, fellow rookie dman and fellow Johnson @frithjofr (Darnell Johnson) netted what would be the game winner in the 1st period, while Larson cruised through, only needing to save 15 of 16 shots in the blowout. 4 wins now. Season sweep next?

GAME 5: (@ Colorado): 4-3 W

Analysis: How do they do it boys? Season sweep. 5-0. Imagine actually getting season swept 5-0 lol fuckin Whalers >:(. Anyway, Xena bagged her 20th goal of the season, as well as an assist, to bring her up to 39 points. Rookie Joe Kerr netted the game winner in the 3rd period, with his 8th of the season, while vet Brock Emmerton won first star with his 2 assists, plus overall solid two-way play. Sweep secured.

Moral of the story, fellas? Don't bring dinosaurs to naval warfare.
