Cody has been a fantastic offensive weapon this season for the Halifax Raiders scoring 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points in 23 games. Cody was selected third overall by the Raiders on a team that seemed to be lacking that scoring touch. Cody has been given second line minutes with second line power play time and has been pivotal to the Raiders much improved record by providing much needed depth scoring. He has found a lot of Chemistry with another stand out player who was a Free agent aquisition in season 47 to being taken 7th overall in the SHL entry draft by the Pride, Timmo Kyllonen. Kyllonen currently leads the SMJHl with 20 assists which has played a big part in Cody’s emergence. Cody currently sits tied for second in scoring with 10 goals with only theo Morgan ahead of him with 12. I believe the continued strong play from Cody and Kyllonen will be the deciding factor in Cody taking the scoring title in the SMJHL for season 48.
