Against
I mean come on. Julio is good, of that there is no doubt, but there are many better juniors prospects. The highly touted Monkey D Luffy comes to mind as a top prospect, but he isn't the only one. Even from his own draft class, he is unlikely to outshine any of Ford, Westbroek, Parmborg or Zadina, let alone all of them.
I agree in many aspects. Statistically, Julio has not sustained as long as Luffy, nor does he have the pedigree of Parmborg. If Westbroek and Zadina get sent back down and recap they could certainly make some waves, but I really don't think that they are going to do that. Ford has an impressive TPE workout regimen that has proven stronger than Julio's by far.
Julio's off-ice contributions rocket him ahead. When you consider the immeasurable locker room presence (it's just "reasonable" on a scale of "inactive" to "this guy needs a second hobby"), the media contributions from statistical analysis, comedic prose, graphic contributions, and graphic contests won, none of the current prospects (in their current builds) can hold a candle to the prairie dangler (Luffy is close though). The quality that sprays from his swingin' udders has glazed the forum in creamy beauty.
You're right, Green Lantern, why? Julio is a hard worker, who took a job on the site and has played a role in modernizing the graphics grading process (It was Lazyeye, but I PM'd him ideas until my fingers hurt). He has $35 million stashed away, some of it earmarked for training, equipment, and a private tournament that he plans to host (details coming soon). The paint contests that he won were below is weight level; why enter them? Because this site deserves quality. This site deserves the best. Half-assing things chips away at the integrity of the league on and off the ice, and his bovine back side has given an ass and a half. Julio has been the model player on the ice, and the model league contributor off of the ice, and his dedication to his team and the shield will echo long into the future. Edmonton had the wisdom to capitalize at the number seven spot in the draft and took the most talented cow, put him in the greenest pasture in Colorado, and said "grow [your TPE]!"
(there was no gif of White Goodman saying "ipso facto", so i settled (not half-assed!) on this gif)
With that in mind, I agree with Fordy's stance of "against" in this "Weekend Fun Time's: Make The Case". However, I move in the opposite direction. The canon that we acknowledge is the SHL (and some affiliated leagues for other sports?), but beyond that, there are other leagues for other sports, with different simulations, all with prospect pools, all vying for there units of skill. I move that Julio Tokolosh is not the best prospect in the world, but the best current prospect across all worlds, and universes, and limiting his dairiness to this small corner of the internet sells short what he has accomplished in terms of effort, skill, talent, and the major steps towards world peace that have occurred as a result of his actions.
I love Luffy and Parmborg's contributions as well and Julio aspire's to accomplish what they have in current builds and in previous.
Stenographer, please strike that last sentence.
I agree, the cow can paint, but does that transfer to hockey skills? Maybe.
