Unsung Hero: Haley Knight

All the attention with this games three stars went to players of the Montreal Impact, but Haley Knight of the Halifax Raiders might also deserve some praise. With an assist on the powerplay he kept the game close after just the first period, while scoring the equalizing point in the second period in a period where the raiders dominated offensively.
With his two point performance it still was anyone’s game going into the third and despite the goaltending of the Militia standing tall, without Knight the Raiders would even had less chances to score some points here. If the Raiders keep feeding Knight the puck, some great things could happen, keep in mind his goal was on his only shot in the game, if only he tried more!
