Denver Wolfe is a second year SMJHL player who just got drafted last season, this still makes him fairly new to the process and with not a whole lot of veteran leadership or guidance under his belt however Wolfe has still presented himself in a manor in the Colorado locker room to help his new recruits. That being said one in-particular Wolfe took a liking to was Hariken Urawa. He's a first generation player bred for success, despite being a different position, Wolfe took him under his wing to mentor him and make sure he received proper guidance and familiarity with the league. He wanted him to understand the importance of making sure he wasn't tardy (using Activity Checks) and also making sure he trained as hard as he could (Weekly Training). Finally, he also made sure any extra practice hours he could accumulate under his belt, he was going to do so (Weekly Point Tasks, Special Point Tasks, etc). Once all of this was established, Wolfe also made sure he was familiar with the rink, with the players, the coaching staff and made sure he just felt comfortable, because if he was comfortable, he was happy. At the end of the day, the two clicked immediately, are currently practicing together often and making the most out of their time on the team, something Wolfe looks forward to with his current time with the Raptors.
