(Losing) Player of the Game

Raquel Castillo Gutierrez (W) – Gutierrez scored one of only two goals by the Kelowna Knights against the Detroit Falcons, the other by Aleksandr Scherbak. Scoring early in the first period to tie the game, assisted by Tah Pucheese and Josef Novotny, unfortunately things went downhill for the team from this point. Gutierrez also had 3 shots on goal, tying with Berg Svensen and Vadim Malichov. Although Aleksandr Scherbak was very close to winning (Losing) Player of the Game with their goal, Gutierrez also managed to lay three successful hits on the opposing team and was also played an important role on the penalty kill. Overall, an excellent choice for (Losing) Player of the Game.
