Given that I will be drafted at some point soon, I decided to take a first look at all the teams and which teams currently I would want to be drafted by. This does not mean that I am not open to being drafted by any number of other teams that are ranked lower here.

I used a very scientific method that I won’t completely give away. I looked at a few different categories. On the lower forms of importance, I looked at location of the team, the name and the logo. Here I gave points between 1 and 3 for each team three times. The other two categories were more important. One, I looked at who the GM of the team was. If I knew them, there was either a positive score, or for some teams also a negative one. If I didn’t know them, then I gave them a 0. And then I looked at players. Here I also gave different forms of points, either 0 for not knowing them, negative for some and then positive for others. Often times, the rule of thumb was 1 point if I knew them and had no problem with them, 2-3 points if they were someone I’d consider a friend or I like them.

Let me also say sorry in case I end up realizing that I actually do know others and just didn’t recognize the username right away. I also say that I don’t know which team has which guys from the minor league already, so who knows who I missed who I would also play with.

We start on the lower end:

Tied for 15th: Hamilton Steelhawks – 4 points
Hamilton actually had a couple different categories that were alright. I gave their name and logo 2 points each, they also had 2 points for players on the team. However, they got -3 for one of their GMs, who I don’t really have a good opinion on.

Tied for 15th: Los Angeles Panthers – 4 points
I don’t know either of their GMs as far as I know. They also received the lowest possible scores for logo, name and location and only got one point for the players on the team. Sorry!

Tied for 13th: Toronto North Stars – 5 points
I actually gave Toronto three points for the location and two points for the name. There is also a player on the team that I don’t really get along with.

Tied for 13th: Minnesota Chiefs – 5 points
I don’t really feel the location and team here much, but they got a couple players that raised their number a bit.

Tied for 11th: West Kendall Platoon – 7 points
While I don’t really love the name and location, they scored quite well with the players on their team, with 3 points. They were lucky they have Sophia on their team because she got probably the highest individual score of any person and then the score got pulled down a little by others.

Tied for 11th: Calgary Dragons – 7 points
I don’t really know many players on their team but I really dig the logo and name here. It’s a really cool one.

Tied for 7th: Chicago Syndicate – 8 points
I don’t really like the location but I like the style of the team a lot. Additionally they got 3 points for their players on their team.

Tied for 7th: Manhattan Rage – 8 points
Again, the name and location are kind of meh to me, but then they again got decent points for the players on the team, 3 points there.

Tied for 7th: Edmonton Blizzard – 8 points
Well here we have an interesting case. I like the logo and name quite a bit and there are a lot of players I have decent feelings about, from caltroit to bzer to ckroyal and especially Leafs4ever, which got them to 6 points there. But then they also lost 3 points for Keygan as their GM.

Tied for 7th: Winnipeg Jets – 8 points
Again, sort of meh on the name and location but they have some decent players here that I get along with well, Trautner, BW3, etc.

Tied for 5th: San Francisco Pride – 9 points
I love the name here and there are also a good number of players I get along with well, for 4 points there, especially Beaver.

Tied for 5th: Texas Renegades – 9 points
This is a solid team all around, they basically got a couple points in most categories here but didn’t really have one stand-out category.

4th: Buffalo Stampede – 11 points
I know both WannabeFinn and Tomen, so this is the first team that got some points for the GMs here. I also like some players and I like the location due to my player being a former Buffalo player obviously (Thomas Vanek)

3rd: Tampa Bay Barracuda – 12 points
Again, I know both JSS and Jepox, so another team that got points for the GMs. I also know a couple players and I really dig the logo.

2nd: New England Wolfpack – 13 points
This is a team that got most of its points from the players. I love the guys on this team, from Moosecop to Mav, AW13, Raven, Ben, etc. This is a team full of people I know and get along with well.

1st: New Orleans Specters – 19 points
Talk about a team that blows the rest out of water. I know both of the GMs and a BUNCH of their players that I get along with really well. Slothfacekilla, Nictox, tlk, majesiu, evok, etc. A group of amazing people and I would love to join them on their team.

Like I said, I am fine going to any team, but I hope that this gives some teams an idea of who I already know and what I think. If you are a team who I don’t know much, feel free to reach out and we can talk and see what our thoughts are later. I am very open to changing my mind. I would be happy to get to know some guys I don’t know yet in this league.
