My second team is Vegas because my wife is half-American and her Dad lives in Vegas, so when they came in it was just a natural choice for me. I found it exciting to follow a new team after having followed the Leafs for most of my life. How do you like that Gardiner signing?

The Gardiner signing is interesting because of the defensive logjam we already had. We've got Jake Bean and Haydn Fleury, two first round defensemen, waiting to crack the line-up, and we just signed Chase Priskie, an NCAA defenseman. I think Justin Faulk gets traded now, as he's entering the final year of his current deal. It was a surprise to me, but a pleasant one since the price is nice.
