(Losing) Player of the Game

Nicolaj Muller (LW) – Perhaps one of the greatest Swiss players currently in the SMJHL, Nicolaj Muller scored the first goal of the game for the St Louis Scarecrows in this close game against the Vancouver Whalers. Assisted by Mika Kandinsky he scored in the opening minutes on a power play in the first period. Overall, Nicolaj Muller had seven shots on goal, the highest of everyone on both teams in this game. Muller had three hits against Cullen Gray in the first period, Sami Rieder in the second and Jan Zacha in the third. Despite missing in the final shot of the game during the shootout, Nicolaj Muller had a fantastic game and was also awarded the third star on the night.
