The Toronto North Stars are happy to announce its new captains for S50 along with a new set of jerseys as many were lost to the shutting down of tinypic and photobucket holding our last ones in blurry purgatory.

First, our home game captain (showing off our new home jersey) for S50 will be our newest call up, and one of the Stars of the future, Mika Kandinsky! @Mika_Kandinsky



Mika is coming off a tremendous Juniors career where he managed 104 points in his last 100 regular season games for the St. Louis Scarecrows. Mika will serve as the team's captain for all S50 home games and as an alternate for S50 away games. Mika is a young, hungry player who we all expect to a be a huge part of the future for the North Stars and we are looking for his leadership this season.

Next up, our away game captain (showing off our new away jersey) will be goaltender, Harry Carpet! @Carpy48



Harry is coming off his rookie season, where he posted a .904 sv% and 3.34 GAA. Harry has been one of our most active members since being drafted in the S47 SHL Entry Draft and has been pinned as one of our pillars of the future since. Obviously goalie captains are rare and generally not allowed to wear the C on the ice, but even with that Harry will be our captain for those games and will serve as a leader on the ice at all times.

Finally, Mikhail Lokitonov will act as the team's #2 Alternate Captain for all games (showing off our alternate throwback jerseys that hearken back to the Toronto Stars of old)!



Lokitonov is heading into his 10th season with the North Stars, after cracking into the top 10 in points in North Stars history last season. Lokitonov has been committed to the North Stars for the past 10 seasons and can offer a lot of experience to his young teammates while allowing them to build their leadership abilities.
