Inspired by Scott Wheelers 2020 NHL prospect rankings that he is doing at the Athletic, I will be doing my own here in the SHL, compiling all of the SHL prospects and grading every team on a scale.

Over the next 16 days I will be posting from 16 all the way down to the #1 Prospect Pool in the SHL, talking about all of their prospects in their system. These evaluations if from TPE, Bank, Activity, and if they are a recreate, their past players in order to get the best evaluation of a prospect and where they are at.

So to be eligible to be in the prospect ranking there are just some simple rules

1. Must be under contract with the team
2. Must be either a send down or a rookie in S52

Thats about it.

And for the teams, I will be valuing higher end prospects a lot more than a lot of decent prospects

So this is how im going to rank the players indivudually

Elite: Projects to be a top line player that is one of the best in his position, top TPE earner in his class

High End Talent: Projects to be a top line player, a top pair defenseman, or staritng goaltender, not top end TPE, but someone who earns a very good amount

Very Good Talent: Projects to be a top 6 forward, a top 4 forwards, pretty good TPE range

Good Talent: Projects to be good depth for the team, i.e. 3rd line talent, alright tpe

Bust: Alrready stalled in TPE/inactive who they still have to pay
