Ready to Grade




 Trey steps up to the mic( his wife, kids, coaches and teammates and friends around him): Thank you all for coming out to this impromptu press conference. Y’all probably have seen my series The Empty Net but I didn’t think that would be the way to go about this so I decided to hold this press conference live.
     *Clears throat* Trey: I’d like to start off by saying thank you to my beautiful wife Megan for standing beside me throughout my pursuit of my own dream and goals. Also, to my St. Louis coaches and Teammates, thank y’all so much. @Nictox, you’ve helped be develop since I started and run a great locker room. To my teammates in St.Louis, it’s been a great time so far.
    To my coaches and future teammates in Calgary. First off thank you for believing in me. Y’all took a chance on me and some consider over drafted for me. But I will tell you this right now, you did not over draft me,  I will promise you that. 
    With that said I would like to announce that I will be taking a leave of absence from my respective teams as of now.
 * The room gasps and is speechless* 
I will be with my friends and family during this difficult time in my personal life. They have took my father to the hospital from the nursing home he was staying at. For this reason and being told I should come visit him I ve decided that this time would be better off spent with my family.
    *St.Louis coaches and Calgary coaches both step up to the microphone *
   We both want everyone to know that we support his decision. He’s a great leader and teammate and always puts his teammates first. We both told him to take time and enjoy your family. Hockey will always be here. Thank you!
*Trey steps back up*
  Just as I did last season when I had to take a absence from the team, I will return and shortly hopefully. I will still drop in the LR and y’all to coaches and teammates. I just won’t be getting all the training in as one usually would during the season. I want to thank all my teammates in both the majors and minors for supporting me and my family during this time of need. That’s all I got right now. Thanks for watching this special edition of The Empty Net.

• * Obviously Trey isn’t leaving but I really am dealing with this in real life as I got a call today. I love this league and won’t be gone long and will be around. Thanks guys!*
