Detroit, MI - With the Winter Classic fast approaching, GMs Tig and Nour have taken the podium to announce the threads they'll be wearing for the big game, as well as the alumni roster who will be gearing up against the alumni out of St. Louis.

"We're really excited to kick off the first Winter Classic in a long time for the SMJHL, and we think Falcons new and old are going to like what we have to reveal today!"


Co-GM Nour, the lead designer on the jerseys, went on to provide more detail on the design aspects of the jersey: "We wanted to create a design that was classic and timeless, with callbacks to Detroit's history without looking dated. We altered the old Detroit Falcons logo to fit a modern jersey style, and we leaned a lot more into the gold/yellow colour that's in our set but very underused in our current jerseys. We're very excited to wear these new jerseys a lot more in the future."

Next up, Head GM Tig took the stage to announce the roster for the upcoming alumni game: "We're beyond happy to finally be able to reveal the Falcons squad that will be lacing up against the St. Louis alumni. This roster is star-studded with a lot of phenomenal Falcons of the past and we're so thankful and grateful these players will be donning the red, white and gold once more, in tribute to the start of their phenomenal careers here in Detroit. Let's not waste anymore time, here is the roster!"

The press conference wrapped up with all the alumni coming out as they were announced, each donning the new jerseys they would be sporting for the upcoming game.
