Unsung Hero:

Despite the Anchorage loss, you'd be remiss to look at this game and not talk about the Armada's third line centre Braden Lowrie. He might not have shown up on the scoresheet, but he posted 4 shots, 3 hits, and +/- of 0! If he gets a bounce you could easily be looking at overtime and at least one point for Anchorage. Lowrie played a solid 18 minutes, including 2 full minutes of power-play time, and still came out a +0 on the night. Again, the scoring will come, especially on 4 shots-- but the responsibility to come out of 18+ minutes without giving up a goal is fantastic. He took the body, he got pucks to the net, and he ate minutes without being a liability. Tonight, Lowrie was an impact player everywhere but on the score sheet.
