Strom Chamberlain Loses Temper
Late in the second period, Strom Chamberlain, Anaheim's goaltender, took exception to an extra poke check from Newfoundland's Steve Harrington after the puck was covered. He wound up and took a swipe at Harrington's legs as he skated by and we went down easily. The refs made a quick judgement call to give the Berserkers a powerplay. Chamberlain laughed as Harrington was carried to the bench, but the Berserker forward would return later in the game. Cody did score on the ensuing powerplay, but fortunately for Chamberlain, that would be the last goal he would allow in the game and the Outlaws would go on to victory.
