Comment 1) Kelowna dominates almost every facet of game to secure easy victory
A furious blitz by the Kelowna Knights in the first two periods was enough to secure the game. Kelowna managed an almost ludicrous shooting % in the first 2 periods, having converted 6 goals in only 18 shots, good for a 33% rate. The combination of skill and a Vancouver blue line that seemed almost asleep at times allowed Kelowna to continuously get dangerous shots from the slot that they were not missing. Vancouver starting goaltender Goodman allowed 4 goals on only 9 shots and was pulled early in the game, The backup was better, bu the game had gotten too far out of hand too quickly for Vancouver to muster up any kind of fight. |
