PGS S52 Game 96: Anchorage vs Carolina
#10

MVP
Since getting shipped over from the Detroit Falcons last season, Kenny Creller has been a huge part of the Carolina Kraken's success. He really showed off his value and why the Kraken traded for him in this game tonight. Kenny Creller really did it all out on the ice and was definitely the MVP of the winning Kraken. Scoring a goal, picking up an assist, putting on the pressure by taking four shots and delivering three big hits, it is thanks to Creller's efforts that the Carolina Kraken were able to come out on top in this back and forth game.

Rookie Netminder
Frans Eller, a rookie netminder was picked pretty highly in the draft by the Carolina Kraken, at the tail end of the second round of a very deep and talented draft class. The promise of having a young netminder who will shut the door for them for many seasons was too much to pass up. Eller really showed off the talent that Kraken management saw in him in this game versus the Armada tonight. Eller won his third game of the season, stopping 25 shots out of 28 en route to a 4-3 win. This game got a little crazy and Eller did a great job keeping his head and locking it down.

Shooters Shoot
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" is a quote that every hockey player has been hearing for ages and some players take this to heart more than others. Some players love to shoot that small black rubber puck and nobody loved to shoot the puck more tonight than Daniel Bischoff of the Anchorage Armada. Daniel Bischoff took a game high 5 shots on goalie Frans Eller in an attempt to win the game for the Armada. Although he did score once, his efforts were not enough to take down Eller and the Kraken and the Armada went home with a 4-3 loss.
