I know it's pretty early on in all of our careers to really get an accurate re-draft, however I'd rather get this out there early, so when I revisit it down the road I can use the actual draft, this re-draft as well as an additional one later on as I said. I'm also going to say right now that i'm not sure how much of the draft I'm going to realign, but ideally I will realign the whole draft eventually. Without further ado let's get right into the nitty gritty boys.

P.S. This re-draft is being done purely on TPE totals and is not accounting for positional needs, the user behind the player, whether it is a GM pick or not and so on. Also, opposed to trying to reason and make assumptions as to why certain players went to team A opposed to team B I'll allow those to comment their reasoning respectively, mainly for accuracy reasons.

Fun Facts:
Biggest Riser: Technically our biggest riser is Austin Powers who was selected 63rd in the S52 SHL Entry Draft, however I'm not sure why he was selected 63rd when the last selection of the draft is 48th. If anyone knows the reasoning behind this large skip, please let me know. As of now I'm assuming it was compensatory? Although Powers has since gone inactive I still felt the need to put this in here as an honorable mention of sorts, as he did jump from 63rd to 38th. In all actuality, we have a tie for our biggest risers or biggest steals of the draft, if you will. First we have Velveteen Dream who was selected 28th overall by the New Orleans Specters. Dream is currently sitting pretty in the 4th spot for total TPE at 464. Our next player is Sabo Tage who was selected 31st overall by the West Kendall Platoon. Tage has made the jump to 7th in total TPE with a nice 439 TPE. Congratulations to both Sabo Tage and Velveteen Dream on making everyone who skipped on you pay the price, and congratulations to the respected front offices' of West Kendall and New Orleans on your steal(s)!

Biggest Fall: With the biggest risers come the biggest falls, or the biggest "busts", if you will. Unlike our biggest risers we have only one player who took the biggest fall in terms of Draft position and TPE total. This is not a fun fact that is used to clown on this player, as we all know "the SHL is a marathon not a race" - @dankoa. Also, everyone earns at their own pace. Im just spitting strictly facts. With that being said we have Trey Nets, who was selected 10th overall by the Calgary Dragons. Nets is currently sitting in 26th in total TPE at 320 TPE. Giving him that position in the redraft. If it makes you feel any better, your drop of 16 is less then the gain of Dream and Tage *shrugs* @KillaScrilla

How many players actually selected in the first round stayed in the first round during the re-draft: This is a fact that has to be one of my favorite as it is always interesting to see how well first round draft picks pan out for teams, and how well shots in the dark pan out, such as Sabo Tage and Velveteen Dream (then again I'm not sure how TDZ fell so far in the first place). With that being said 11/16 of those selected in the first round of the draft stayed put in our re-draft. Something to note is that Simothy Drunkebird, who was selected 1st overall by the San Francisco Pride dropped to 10 in our re-draft and currently has 407 TPE.

SMJHL team with the most players selected: The SMJHL team that had the most representation in our S52 SHL Re-draft is the Detroit Falcons. The Falcons had six players selected to an SHL team. When looking who had the team with the most players selected I found something else to be very interesting at that was the amount of teams who were tied for the 2nd most players selected with five. Those teams are the following: Anaheim Outlaws, Anchorage Armada, Colorado Raptors, Kelowna Knights and Vancouver Whalers. Yes, you read that correctly, half of our SMJHL teams tied with the players selected in the entry draft.

SMJHL team with the least players selected: Unlike the Detroit Falcons who were in sole possession of the lead for the team with the most players selected, we have a tie for the teams with least players selected in the entry draft. Those teams are the Carolina Kraken and the Maine Timber, both of which had three players chosen.

Active/inactive ratio: Of our 46 players selected in the S52 draft, 33 of them are active, or are still considered active per the Player values spreadsheet. Being deemed active on that spreadsheet is updating within the last 4 weeks.

Best pick per round based on TPE: As shown by my re-draft, there are definitely players who are over-performing based on their actual selection in the draft. Without further hesitation, here is our best player per round based on their TPE earnings.

1st round: Cal Labovitch 479 TPE - Selected 2nd overall by the Minnesota Chiefs. This one is pretty obvious as Labovitch ended up 1st in the re-draft and is 11 TPE clear of 2nd place Rhys Pritchard.
2nd round: Velveteen Dream 464 TPE - Selected 28th overall by the New Orleans Specters. Although this may come as a surprise due to his position selected in the draft.. it really shouldn't. Dream is tied for our biggest riser in the draft coming in at 4th overall per the re-draft, even though he was selected 28th overall he is proving every GM who passed on him wrong.
3rd round: Lucifer Morningstar 252 TPE - Selected 48th overall by the Hamilton Steelhawks. Morningstar is now inactive, however his 252 TPE is currently enough to have him as the highest earned in round 3. In itself this is an impressive feat as 48th is the last selection of the 3rd round. In our re-draft Morningstar slots in at 31, while not incredibly high overall, it is still an impressive increase from his original draft position.
Undrafted: Cyril Vyskoc 307 TPE - Undrafted. As previously stated, I'm unsure as to his comment on the official draft thread of him retiring after juniors is true or not, either way I'm gonna assume it's safe to say he's being truthful as he did end up going undrafted for a reason(?) Either way, Vyskoc comes in at 27th overall in our re-draft, which is impressive none the less.

Guy O’Shea was the only player to remain at the same pick in the actual draft as well as the re-draft, at 19th overall to the Texas Renegades.

Nine of the players listed in the re-draft went undrafted in S52. Those being Noah Johns, Abhik Patel, Jebany Franciszek, Bryce Turner, Cyril Vyskoc, Izzy Dudemiester, Tiberius Maximus, Borys Franciszek and Riley Kuse.
