Overall, the Vancouver Whalers played with heart throughout the preseason. With the lead of the veterans, the team has really come together and are playing well together. We cheer together when we score and make good plays. We look for ways in improving when things aren't going our way. As a rookie, I already feel like a big part of the team and it was exciting to score two goals. I believe we played some competitive games and hopefully we can convert to more wins in the regular season.
