Luke - Edmonton will miss the playoffs

AGAINST - Edmonton has one of the better young cores in the league despite losing players such as Cory Knouse and Teddy Cuddles in recent years. The core of Tor Tuck, Brady McIntyre, Hercules Rockefeller, Tony Pepperoni, and Tommy Tuck still stands strong along with great young players such as Emiko Spector, Jean-Paul Boivin, and Barrett Blackwood have joined the team and are looking to be difference makers this season. I don’t see the Blizzard being the best team in the league by any means, but I think that they will definitely make the playoffs again this season.

bbjygm - Hamilton will do well and everybody will be very calm and cool about it when they do

FOR - Hamilton undoubtedly has one of the strongest teams in the league this season and they should have a great year. They have built a very well rounded team that actually has a focus of defense and I can see them simming very well. The league as a whole SHOULD be calm and cool about it when they have a great season because they deserve it. Their team is very good and has great depth and they aren’t exploiting the sim this time.

Y-man - New England will still miss the playoffs

AGAINST - I really just can’t see this happening. The Wolfpack have too much talent to miss the playoffs in a less random sim. There is of course always a possibility but I really can’t see it happening. With another year of progression for their young players and the addition of Rex Kirkby, the best defenseman in the league, the Wolfpack are in position to have a huge bounce back season

Katth - Toronto will not finish last in the league

AGAINST - Toronto is so bad. At everything. They are also TRYING to tank. Toronto is going to suck very badly this season and come in last. Next.

Fordyford - Hamilton will finish dead last in the league

AGAINST - Hamilton will come top 3 in the league due to the reasons I have already discussed in an earlier prediction. They are a very strong team poised to have a great season.

Luke - Toronto will win fewer than 7 games

FOR - I do think that Toronto will be THAT bad. It’s going to be a struggle for them every single game. The only teams that they might have a chance against are Tampa Bay and Minnesota but even those teams are better.

Donini - Winnipeg will make the playoffs

AGAINST - This ain’t happening bro. There are too many good teams in the West. While Winnipeg isn’t the worst team, I don’t really think they have a chance this season.

JayWhy - The Buffalo Stampede will finish just outside the playoffs, at 5th place in the East

AGAINST - The Stampede will definitely make the playoffs this season. They have a great team with the same core they’ve had for awhile. They should definitely make the playoffs once again this season, probably coming in 3rd or 4th in the East.

hotdog - Aleister Cain will finally take home an award (it's not bold because he's got a ton of TPE but it is bold cuz we all know he stink)

AGAINST - Cain is so bad, worst goalie of all time and will have the worst stats in the league. @SlashACM is paying for his crimes he committed in a past life.

Puolivalmiste - TEX goalie White Goodman will be Rookie of the Year

AGAINST - I said against because I don’t know who this is. I can’t see a rookie goalie winning the award anyways though.

JayWhy - The Chicago Syndicate are going to be top 3 in the league in both goals for and goals against

AGAINST - Even with the power of JODAN, the Syndicate are still not at that level of play. They should be a good team, but not that good. There are plenty of better teams.

Mike Izzy - In their 19th seasons, one of either Robert Phelps or Mike Izzy will win one of the awards for the S53 season.

AGAINST - I think that both of these legends will have decent seasons, but with their old age and in the twilight of their careers, I don’t think that either of them will put together a good enough season to win an award.
