This will never happen. Fordy, you’ve clearly forgotten the existence of Toronto, Tampa, and Texas, who will more than likely struggle to get double digit wins. Hamilton may not have the meta in FHM, but they do have a decent roster and should be one of the better teams in their conference. They have a skilled goaltender with a solid build, as well as some high TPE roster players, and a star-studded lineup that should give both defensive acumen and ferocious firepower. I fully expect them to make the playoffs, and while I do not see them winning the Cup, I expect them to compete. They also have been testing FHM earlier than anyone, with multiple Hamilton players on the FHM team, and that extra experience gives them an edge over teams.

As far as we know, putting nothing in Passing is not a meta here, but they still had more time to find a strategical advantage. They still have the benefit of time and experience, and right now, they have the best inside scoop on how this engine will work. Whether it will make a significant difference, we will see, but right now, all the other teams are scrambling and playing catch up. They should be more than ready to come out of the gates swinging and half a strong season. Forget finishing dead last, this prediction would be laughable even if it just said that Hamilton wouldn’t make the playoffs.

No matter how much we all hate the Steelhawks and wish that this switch would make them fall on their faces, there are just much worse caliber teams that are locks to fail. Hamilton should be a top 6 or so team in the league, and I think you will see that reflected in the start. They had a strong preseason, including some convincing wins, and I expect to see a similar strong commencement of the regular season. Expect to see a flurry of wins and a solid record out of the gate. This prediction is absurd and just wishful thinking.
