Many have predicted Carolina to sit at the bottom of the standings - with the most rookies in the league, this definitely isn't a stretch. However, regardless of the Kraken's playoff hopes, the Vets are on the spot for leading the 8+ rooks to keep in the game, and possibly make a late season run at a lower seed.

Firstly, the top forward on the team - Velveteen Dream - must quarterback this team to success and lead as an example. He is a seasoned vet, and the only player maxxed out to their junior potential. He must mentor rookie centre Bobby Bergen, as he will be awarded many minutes in his rookie campaign.

Secondly, Ambacas Cuddles. If Carolina has any strength, it may be their well-rounded defence. Cuddles will mentor future superstar Adam Friedland on the blueline - who knows, maybe these two will play on a pairing one day.

Third - Jimmy Wagner - this guy may be here for another year or two - When Mr.Dream gets the callup, Wagner may be "That" guy. The leadership torch will surely be passed to Wagner - I expect Wags to lead by example.
