After losing nearly his entire bank account, including all of his contract pay for Season 54 and then some, special agent Michael Scarn has formally filed for bankruptcy.
Scarn has since made it known that he will be declining his mutual option for Season 55 with the Buffalo Stampede, as the $6,000,000 salary he will earn for Season 55 simply will not be enough. While Michael Scarn has much love for the Buffalo branch of Dunder Mifflin, he is open to transferring to any of the other regional branches that Dunder Mifflin operates across the country, so long as he is given a proper pay raise. After working with the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin for well over 15 years, Michael Scarn was able to secure a 12% pay raise with the company and ever since then has not asked for a pay raise. In wake of his bankruptcy, Scarn will need to resort his finances with his accountant, Oscar Martinez, and try to learn PowerPoint.
Michael Scarn will be represented by his agent, Darryl Philbin, in free agency after this upcoming season
