The Outlaws this season definitely did not meet the expectations we set before it started. We were red hot in the beginning, but seemed to fizzle off towards the end and took on a very close matchup in the playoffs. This first season of mine was a lot of fun, and although it did not end the way us Outlaws thought it would, I still am happy to be on this fantastic team. The regular season sims were not the greatest to us as we fell down the standings, and then in the playoffs we just could not get on our feet. Although we were in a great position in the playoffs, it seemed our defensive woes could not get us the wins we needed. Our offense from the regular season carried over, avoiding being shutout the entire series, but our defense letting up double digit goals is where we were hit big time. As much firepower we had going towards the opposing net, we just could not keep the puck out of our own goal to save our lives. Going into next season, it seems that upgrading our defense seems to be a priority so we can get ourselves in a better position for our next run.
